Eastern British Columbia Railway Co. (1908-1934+)

Background

Headquarted in Spokane, Washington, this railway was incorporated in 1908 and connected its 14 miles of track with the Canadian Pacific at McGillivray, B.C. Built to serve the Corbin Coal and Coke Mine at Corbin, B.C., the railway probably ceased operation with the mine's closure in 1935. No cars were listed in the ORER by 2/1930, and by 7/1937, this railway had disappeared from the ORERs.
